How it works for you
The day's each way strategy selections with value of at least 10%, the best six. Fewer than two, no bet that day.
Each horse is paired with every other horse once, so six horses make 15 doubles. Two horses from the same race are never paired: bookmakers don't take those.
The place part pays when both horses place, at both place prices multiplied. The win part pays when both win. Two horses placing at 10/1, with places paid at 1/5, return £9 on a £2 double.

Most days the doubles lose: only 26% of betting days were up in testing. The profit comes from the days two or more of the horses place at big prices, so a quiet fortnight is normal.
Get on board
- Set aside money just for the doubles. £330 at £1 each way a double. In testing, the worst losing spell cost £220 before it recovered, so £330 gets you through a spell like that with room to spare. If you also follow another strategy, keep this money separate.
- Place every double, every betting day. At the odds shown or better. The big days are rare and you can't tell in advance which they will be, so skipping days is what breaks it.
- Judge it by the month, or longer. In testing 22 of 36 months were up and losing runs of 19 betting days happened. This strategy is on trial: we will say here how the live record compares.
